Registered Massage Therapist
Aaron Tong is a graduate from the Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) program at Vancouver Career College and is Registered with the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia. He discovered an interest in the field of acupuncture and massage therapy during a trip to China in 2013, where he saw Massage therapy techniques and practices being used to help better peoples lives.
Aaron enjoys working with his hands and is very passionate in helping people heal from their injuries, or feel relief from chronic pain. Suffering from a multiple-disc herniation in his early twenties, Aaron has learned the importance of being aware of your body, body movement and how to better ones self. Aaron was able to recover from his herniated disc with the help of Massage therapy and wanted to help others who may be dealing with acute or chronic pain as well.
Although Aaron’s experience was long and painful, he is glad he had his herniated disc injury because it helped him understand chronic pain and how, with the right information and treatment, one is able to recover and live a fulfilling life. Aaron enjoys treating those with sports injuries, chronic pain issues and overuse injuries. Aaron’s massage techniques include but are not limited to: deep tissue massage, joint mobilizations, myofascial release and trigger point therapy.
In his spare time, Aaron enjoys fishing, skateboarding, tai chi and being outdoors.
