From an external point of view a patient could think “that’s physiotherapy!” but, when they begin their treatment, this opinion changes immediately.
First of all, we observe the posture of the whole body: it tells us a lot of you! Rotations, shifts, side bending, asymmetries —everything leads us to something to be investigated further once you are laying on the table.

Every system (musculoskeletal, visceral, nervous) is deeply related to the others, so they affect each other. This means that when one district heals, the others do as well.
Understanding What Your Body Needs
It is necessary to understand what are the body’s needs. It is through palpation tests that we listen to tensions and density, so we detect areas with reduced mobility. Our attention is directed specifically to those parts of the body, as well as to your symptoms.
We call it globality because every system (musculoskeletal, visceral, nervous) is deeply related to the others, so they affect each other. This means that when one district heals, the others do as well.
Finally, we treat. Only the techniques required — the ones necessary ones for your body in that precise moment. Not more, not less. Protocols are never applied — because everyone is different, so should be our manipulations.
During the session, we are not the leading actor. Patients are. Osteopathic practitioners show patients a path for their body to restore to a new balanced health condition. Then it is up to them saving this balance with an optimal lifestyle (and occasional treatments with us and other non-conventional practitioners).
