Erin Polatynski

Registered Massage Therapist

Erin graduated from the Massage Therapy program at the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in August 2017. She has always been fascinated by the body, its anatomy and intricate systems that allow us to function on a daily basis. Having been extremely active since childhood, she has learned the importance of needing to take care of her body through trial and error over the past 20 years.

Always looking for new things to explore and learn about, her inquisitive mind has taken her on an incredible journey that continues to propel her forward. Her professional beginnings stem from studying and performing as an actor, working on a cruise ship, working in gyms, teaching yoga (certified for both kids and adults), to studying Thai yoga massage eventually finding her way to massage therapy. Every aspect of her journey has been a stepping stone, allowing her to further her passion for learning about the body’s healing capabilities by combining her love for the arts and sciences throughout her studies

As a registered massage therapist, her mission is to create a safe, nurturing and inviting space that allows clients to breathe deeply and find a sense of ease as they begin to address musculoskeletal and soft tissue dysfunctions together. Techniques that may be used during treatment are dependent upon symptom presentation and may include myofascial release, deep tissue massage, trigger point work, joint mobilizations, Swedish massage, manual lymph drainage and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation. Working collectively to set goals and establish a treatment plan, Erin aims to help others regain optimal function of their bodies in order to reduce physical pain and discomfort.
