Your Visit

Your first session is an opportunity to get to know your counsellor, discuss what your key concerns are and see if the counsellor/client relationship is a good match. The counsellor will take note of your current concerns and make a recommendation as to how to proceed with treatment, how often you should come in, and whether a referral to additional services is required. Various forms of therapy may be used ranging from emotional release, talk therapy, creative journaling, or art therapy. You may also be given some information to read at home for further reflection.

Seawall Walk & Talk
Laurel also offers 50-minute Seawall walk-and-talk sessions at $84/hour (initial sessions are always held at the clinic).
